The TNTvans Ram or Dodge Truck Camper Bed DIY Kit is a bed platform that bolts in place and designed to save space and help organize your truck bed. This is an efficient solution for camping and overlanding out of the back of a truck bed. Made with proprietary high quality materials and metal joints, it can work as a bench during the day and then you can quickly make into a bed in the evenings.
I am 6' and weigh 210 lbs. and the 24" size fits perfect for me. If you install a 24" wide bed kit on either side of your Ram or Dodge truck, it would leave about a 22" middle aisle.
With this platform in your truck bed only taking up less than half the space across, it keeps the one side open to store large items like mountain bikes, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ice chest, camping gear, or dog crates.
The entire framework is composes of T-track making it easy to bolt other items to the bed frame. You could even bolt panels, fans, co2 tanks, or water tanks to the side of the frame.
Installation:
This DIY kit comes with installation hardware utilizing riv nuts as anchor points into the bed of your truck. This DIY bed kit will bolt solid to your truck bed. You will need a riv nut tool.
Fitment:
The 4' section will fit around the wheel well. The (2) 12" sections can be bolted to either ends or on the same end giving you placement options and adjustability for the 8 foot long truck beds. Please measure your truck bed before ordering.
Compatibility:
For your convenience, all of our interior products come with connecting brackets to adjoin adjacent units together. If you have the room in your truck bed, you can add:
